Problem with setting up child theme

I enjoyed your design and thought it would work for my site. I’m trying to create a child theme and having troubles. Here is what I have written:

I’ve managed to upload this theme to my site, but it doesn’t seem the sytlesheet is crossing over. You can look at my website at http://www.davidakoch.org and see what I’m getting. It doesn’t see the style sheet is passing over. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
