problem with rtmp
-
good morning
I’m using the old version of this plugin JW Player 6 Plugin for WordPress, recently I seen a strange behaviour. When I try to attach a rtmp address like: rtmp://IPADDRESS/live/stream i do: “Add external media” and than I paste the address in the “Media URL” field.
But, when I try to to see the page, I see the error: “no playable sources found” . In past I attached so many times rtmp adresses in the same way (I use jwplayer for live streaming), in fact if I try to use an old page where is present an old address everything works fine.
If I inspect the HTML code I notice that, in the new pages, strangely, the jwplayer’s part of code is referring to the id of the media:
<div class=’jwplayer’ id=’jwplayer-2′></div><script type=’text/javascript’>if(typeof(jQuery)==”function”){(function($){$.fn.fitVids=function(){}})(jQuery)};jwplayer(‘jwplayer-2’).setup({“file”:”https://my_site.com/?attachment_id=19799″});
instead in the old pages jwplayer correctly referres to rtmp address
<div class=’jwplayer’ id=’jwplayer-2′></div><script type=’text/javascript’>if(typeof(jQuery)==”function”){(function($){$.fn.fitVids=function(){}})(jQuery)};jwplayer(‘jwplayer-2’).setup({“image”:”https://prevenzionerapine.it/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/aipros_testa.jpg”,”file”:”rtmp://IPADDRESS/live/stream”});
In your opinion this issue is related with the plugin, with wordpress 4.3.1 or with mod_security?
