• Hello, sorry for my bad English…

In one of my two sites installed yoast in the position of AIO seo plugin. I submitted the new sitemap to the google search and i deleted the old sitemap. In the old robot.txt file changed my old sitemap address (AIO) to the new one (YOAST).

However, the google search shows that it can not find the new robot.txt file and has a yellow mark on the robot control. When I test robot.txt in robot checker shows that everything is good, I continue and I submit it, but the warning remains. Is this a cashe problem or need some other adjustment in yoast settings?

    Thank you
    Chris

  • The file name should be robots.txt, that might be why Google can’t find it.

I can understand that a free program can not have an immediate response to user requests. What I can not understand is that a program with millions of downloads has not found a way to respond relatively quickly to very common questions. I know my question is funny for an experienced user, I know that you are very busy, but honestly, the support for a product is very important for me.

I apologize for my ignorance, my bad bad English and my silly question. And thank you very much for driving me back to the old program I was using.

    Thanks again
    Chris
