Problem with post picture

    Hi,

    since a few months I have problemes assigning a picture to a post which is not in the media library yet. When I click on the “Upload” tab nothing happens any more. I have tested it with different themes and also the classic and the block editor. The reaction is always the same.

    I’m using WP version 5.3.2-DE and the php version used is 7.2.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Do you by any chance use a firewall plugin?
    It may be that you turned on a setting that disables all file uploads.

    No. I can upload pictures using media upload without problems. However when I start a post and click on insert post picture the media liabrary shows up, but when I click on the tab upload file nothing happens. It seems that the necessary window with the explorer to select the files doesn’t show up.
