When a user edits their posted ad, all the images except for the Featured Image disappear and have to be uploaded again. Editing text, price, anything causes the images to disappear

Just received this comment and question from FormidableForms regarding this issue:

“This is related to how Pods returns multiple files uploaded. With ACF integration, https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/acf-form/#kb-easy-integration-acf-fields (A gallery type is selected for multiple upload fields in Formidable forms).”

Can anyone help? Read this question and tell me why this is not happening?

Formidable expects the value to be returned as serialize array (Step 5 here https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/file-upload/#kb-use-multiple-files-as-default-value)

Try turning off the “Override WP Metadata values” option in Pods Admin > Settings.
