Yesterday i moved my site to a new server. Everyhing works great apart from one thing: images displayed as a post preview ( these little pictures on a main site being miniatures of the original pictures ) now fail to be displayed. Instead of a picture, i get a name of it with a blank background.
In my opinion this problem is connected with timthumb.php file, but I’m not sure about that.
Additionally, I published a new post today to check if a photo uploaded after the server was moved will work, and what I found is that even these newly posted pictures don’t show up in the post preview. The problem must be connected with some .php file.
    Could you help me?

One more information: Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open ‘x/xxxx/xxxxxx.jpg’ for writing: Permission denied in /xxx/xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/wp-content/xxxx/xxxxx/timthumb.php on line 342
    Any guesses?

  • I think it is more likely to be the permission settings on your new server.

Get advice from your hosting company if you don’t know how to change them.

To be honest, I don’t think it’s about permissions, as I’ve already changed them to 777 so that the pictures are fully readable.

In my opinion the problem stucks in some .php file. Now I will try to compare these files which are on the new server with original template files. Hopefully the issue will be fixed soon…
