Can you please take a look at my site, too?
On the bottom of e.g. http://www.finanztreff.org/optionfair I see only default pictures. As far as I remember, the thumbnails have been properly displayed until the last plugin update. I tried reindexing but the images dont show up anymore..

@bauhausweb — We’re looking into this for you. Looks like it has something to do with the way the custom field for images is being set up. We’ll trouble shoot further and let you know what we find.

@bauhausweb — It looks like the custom field path for images has been set up wrong. The “custom field path” is only necessary if you are not setting the full path of the image at the post level. Since you are, then you don’t need this.
Please go into the nRelate Dashboard page when logged into WordPress and delete the info int he custom field path – here’s a screenshot for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zq0z72cpdnresh3/Screenshot%202013-12-06%2014.36.21.png). Once this is done a reindex will be necessary.
This should fix the thumbnail issues on your site.

thanks for the response. I removed the custom field info in settings as you suggested and re-indexed the images. I hope it will work…
P.S.: I opened an extra thread for my issue after I got a reminder (see above) to do so. My issue has been posted here.
P.P.S.: Short question regarding the Custom Fields: I do display nrelate thumbnails via Custom Fields. Why should I leave the info in the custom field path empty then?
@katrina: I removed the custom field path, re-indexed – but it still shows the static images. Also, the post excerpt is not being displayed.

http://static.finanztreff.org/uploads/http://static.finanztreff.org/uploads/optionfair_home_small.jpg
when it should be – http://static.finanztreff.org/uploads/optionfair_home_small.jpg. Is this correct?

thanks for getting back so quickly.
The URL to the path I removed was http://static.finanztreff.org/uploads/. I can only assume that the messy URL you saw in your system must have been related to a flaw in my db when changing the URL structure for uploads (after I set up the “static” subdomain).
So yes, you are correct: You should have seen http://static.finanztreff.org/uploads/optionfair_home_small.jpg instead of the long and messy link.
But what do we do now? Currently the “URL to uploads path” is empty as you suggested but still no images are being displayed..

P.S.: The image URL is http://imgcdn.nrelate.com/image_cache/www.finanztreff.org/1cba8f33320b554dd2e8ae52e97a13ac_thumb_finanztreff.png which makes me wonder: do you need to flush the cache on your end maybe?

Regarding the post excerpt issue – It looks like something is filtering the feed we create for your site. Can you please send over a plugins list so we can take a look?
