problem with link to email address in post

Update:

When I post directly from my Gmail account on the gmail-website then there are no problems with posting links and email addresses.

It now works for me. Don’t ask me how I did it! 🙂

Another problem has occurred. Hope you don’t mind I ask you in the same thread here:

It is important for my users that when they post by email that the original formatting from their email is kept – also when they are commenting on a thread.

When I create a new post by email, it now looks fine, but when I try to reply to the thread (with the exact email content) most of the original html is not inserted into the DB, like it was when the new post was created.

When I update the comment via the dashboard with the same html as in the original post, the comment looks just fine. So I guess my template supports full html in the comment section.

Is it Postie who strips the comment before inserting to the DB or can you point me in the right direction?
