Problem with Greek Language

Hello,
I recently got a job to make a website SEO friendly.
I am from Greece and I want to use Greek file names. The plugin works but It doesn’t recognize Greek.
For example:
Stylegates Αυλοπορτα M484 renames to stylegates–ce-b1-cf-85-ce-bb-ce-bf-cf-80-ce-bf-cf-81-cf-84-ce-b1-m484.jpg.

Please help me out.

Use https://wordpress.org/plugins/greeklish-permalink/.

If you want to run it for existing posts and have a test istallation try the https://github.com/lenasterg/Skp-Greeklish-Slugs. CAUTION the last is in BETA and could wreck your site!!! Try it only on a test server.

For slugs, sure, for filename you can enable the UTF-8 option in the plugin.

Dear Lenasterg,
Thank you for your quick response.The problem is that i want the filenames in Greek.
For example I want Stylegates-Αυλοπορτα-M484.jpg.
I cant re-upload the image with the name I want because the same image can be in 3-5 pages in 4 languages. This will take me a year.

Dear Jordy,
I dont mind to buy the pro version but i want to be sure that the filenames can be in greek. For example Stylegates-Αυλοπορτα-M484.jpg. I want you to ensure me that the filenames will be in Greek.
