Yes, i’m using qtranslateX
In order to make the featured pages box (in Appearance -> Customize -> Content -> Front Page ..) work with qtranslate the char limit had to be removed.
So to show just the “excerpt” you can:
1) fill the fp text boxes using the qtranslate’s “shortcodes” for your languages
or
2) fill the page excerpt. Edit your pages and fill the text box “Excerpt”.
If you cannot see it, click on the top-right button “Screen Options”, and check the “Excerpt” checkbox.

I was forwarded to this information. I have a problem with qtranslate and latest version of WordPress. My featured pages (only the title) is mixed up. It shows all the 3 languages in one header/title. how to change? I did try the above mentioned options but it didn’t change my title (yes, English over Dutch text… that’s not what should happen).
the title now start with this:
{page}<!–:nl–>
any suggestions?

your site works fine here, fp titles and excerpt are translated.
If you’re referring to what you see in the customize, don’t care about it. 😀

sorry to start this topic again, but the problem isn’t resolved. In the titles above the Featured pages textblock are all 3 translations shown. I just need one per language.
do you have the solution?
