The settings are separate for daily and weekly. What are your settings for each?
There are two settings. You have set weekly to 3. What about daily? Can you post a screen print of the backup listing? I’m guessing you have a setting error, since you mentioned the same is happening for multiple websites.
Did the setting used to be set to 10, and then you changed it to 3? Updating a setting in this way won’t delete the old backups.
If you were to delete all 10 for example, it will likely only store up to 3 afterwards.
wow, you were right, it was indeed a settings error! To be honest I’ve never paid attention to the tabs above and had no idea that there are complete weekly and daily tabs. I have been only changin from the first tab the option ‘once daily’ to ‘once weekly’ and then I had two ‘Once weekly’ schedules which gave more files!;)) silly me. THANK YOU!:)
