Problem with comments

hi everyone,

whenever users submit comments without entering their email id ( required field), browser tries to open wp-comments-post.php and eventually “The page cannot be displayed” message is shown up. This is happening only on IE. On Firefox i get the message asking users to enter their mail ID.

any ideas??
