Problem with categories in post admin

    Hello,

    Since the update of wodpress 5, I have a problem related to categories in the admin of my site : https://www.buzzwebzine.fr.

    I can see and edit all the categories in : /wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

    But when I create a new post or edit an old one, I don’t see the lastest created categories in the category list : /wp-admin/post-new.php

    If I want to select one of these new categories, I have to activate the “Classic Editor” plugin. Then I see the complete list.

    I recenlty updated the 5.2 wp core but I still have this problem.

    I don’t know if this is a general bug or something that impacts only my site…

    New categories show up on my post edit screen using the block editor, so it’s not a general bug. While there have been many problems reported with the block editor due to plugin or theme conflicts, I’ve not noticed anyone else reporting this specific issue. Be sure your browser is not showing you a stale category list from cache by flushing your browser cache or doing a hard refresh (Ctrl-F5 in many cases, YMMV).

    If the issue persists, try deactivating plugins and switching themes to isolate which module is causing a conflict.
