  • In this case generating the API key will be pointless because once you activate the plugin it will start communicating with the API service using HTTP requests, if your firewall is blocking the request to generate the key we can assume that it will block the other requests too.

    You can either whitelist the IP address of the server where the API service is being hosted which is “173.230.138.242 — wordpress.sucuri.net” or disable the API communication from the “API Service” panel located in the plugin’ settings page. Also, be sure to have installed the development version of the code [1] as it includes several bugfixes and new features that will be released soon.

    may be i have to setup that ip on cloudflare too?
