• I just bought some shared hosting and have installed a brand new wordpress blog up there which is running correctly.

I am however having problems with a second blog I have migrated to their servers from my last host. I followed the process (described by many people online) to the letter for migrating a wordpress blog as far as I’m aware.

All files have been uploaded to the new directory and I created a new database and imported the database info from the old host with phpMyAdmin. (I used UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore to get database backup). I then added these new database details to the wp-config file and the domain has been set to point at the new directory and the DNS has been updated to the new hosts servers.

I am seeing image files so the DNS has propagated and the domains are all set right.

Everything is done and should be working but it isn’t! The php seems to be showing in the browser instead of running?? (I don’t fully understand php I’m afraid, I am a HTML/CSS man that manages to work with wordpress without understanding PHP)

Can any of you geniuses please advise me what could be causing this? I’m obviously extremely keen to minimise down time and the site doesn’t look great right now. :/

Like I said. I don’t understand these things but its like the PHP isn’t running. All a bit weird given the other blog works fine.

The faulty blog in question is at http://www.themushroom.net

I hope you can help! 🙂
