Problem when using uploaded image in more than one post

    I upload an image and use it in Post #1 with ‘show thumbnail’ and ‘link to file’ options. If I view Post #1 and click on the thumbnail, I am taken to a page showing the larger image with a title formed of the title of Post #1 and the title of the image.

    Now I create a second Post (#2) and insert the same uploaded image that I used in Post #1, using the same options. If I view Post #2 and click on thumbnail, I am taken to a page showing the larger image with a title formed of the title of Post #1 (NOT #2) and the title of the image. This is confusing for the reader. I have tried editing the post code, but my edits are always ignored on save.

    It seems that an uploaded image has some sort of association with the first post that references it. Can anyone explain this and suggest a workaround?

    What did you put in the fields “Name” and “Description” of the image ?

    I believe you didn’t put Any name and since it was uploaded with Post#1 – it inherited it’s title 🙂

    Try using a name for the image and see what happens.

    I did supply name and description. Just repeated the exercise with a new image and the result is the same.
