• Hello!

    I have been using Elementor with this plugin, but I have encountered an error upon using this plugin. I am able to generate a page duplicate just fine, but the slug field is not actually stored in the database, which Elementor uses to allow me to edit the page. This causes a 400 error.

    I have found a solution, in duplicatepage.php to add a line:

     'post_name' => $post-> 'some unique string'

    to the $args array. This lets me get around having to manually assign a post, but I would like to receive updates in the future. Is there another known solution to fix this? Or would it be possible to have this added in a future update for other Elementor users.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi @member5614 ,

    Thank you for the detailed bug report and solution suggestion!

    This issue was reported several months ago and our development team has been working on it. It’s likely already fixed in the latest version of Duplicate Page.

    Please try this:

    1. Go to Plugins → Duplicate Page
    2. Check if there’s an update available
    3. Click Update to the latest version
    4. Deactivate and reactivate the plugin
    5. Try duplicating an Elementor page again and see if the slug issue is resolved

    If the issue is still present after updating to the latest version, please let me know and we can investigate further.

    Thank you for your patience!

    Best regards,
    WP File Manager Support
