• Hi,
I am trying to install wordpress but there is an error each time. Here is what I get:

    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at aquadealssql.db.3210257.hostedresource.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

The answer to all those question is yes, it is ok in my wp-config-sample.php.

That would be awesome if someone could help me figure that out.

Actually, not it’s not ok. The information in my wp-config-sample is ok but not in the error message I get. My database server is not aquadealssql.db.3210257.hostedresource.com.

I think I know what I did wrong but I don’t know how to fix it. When I first tried and got an error, I thought there was something wrong with my database server so I made a new one. Looks like it still try to read the old one.

Any way to reset the install process and go through this again?

    thanks

Instead a recet, how do I change the info if one of the following is now right:

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

As I said above, the info in my wp-config-sample.php are ok. That’s the info I entered online that are not right. Thanks
