Hello, I have a problem with my wordpress site. Whenever I want to share news from the site on Facebook, it doesn’t put the picture that goes with the news, but puts the cover picture from the site’s header for any post. I tried turning off all plug ins and turning them back on but still the same.

Facebook uses the OpenGraph protocol to determine the data displayed. This requires that information about the data to be displayed is stored on your website. This is currently not the case for you. Therefore, Facebook probably selects an image to display at random.

To solve this, you need to store OpenGraph on your website. You can do this with any SEO plugin, for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/seo/ – but there are also specialized plugins: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/open+graph/

Facebook also provides a debugger where you can test the displayed data: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ – once you have set up OpenGraph, test it there.
