Problem removing attributes

I have a bunch of products I imported into woocommerce from Etsy using the Woocommerce Etsy Importer plugin. Everything worked reasonably well (the reviews never made it over) but I wanted to get rid of the product attributes. I started removing them and went out to the product page to verify the attribute drop down was no longer on the page when I noticed that the “Add to Cart” button was disabled. How can I remove the attributes?
