Problem moving WP database to new server

    I’m moving my site from one server to another. I’ve created the account on the new server but I can’t restore the database.

    The error I get is:

    #1064 – You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘collate latin1_general_ci NOT NULL,
    value text collate lati

    —

    I assume this means that this means there’s a difference between the version of MySQL on my old server, and on the new one. Is this correct?

    And if so, how can I go about restoring the database?

    Any help greatly appreciated.
