problem installing the blog

I think you may have some database issues. Make sure the informaton in your wp-config.php file is correct. Pop this in your browser address bar and take a look.

This is how you will want to install WordPress, but notice the error message. You need to sort out your database issue first.

Well, I don’t think it’s really a hosting issue… yet… that message indicates that… “WordPress was able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the feelthevideo_clanteam_kiasy.* database.”

So, the things you should do next, in the following order, are:

* Are you sure the database with that exact name exists?
* Does the user 63153_thekiasy have permission to use the feelthevideo_clanteam_kiasy.* database if it does exist?
* On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?

If you don’t know how to setup a database you should contact your host.

I’m sorry, I don’t. The best thing to do, might be for you to call your host and ask for the support desk. Tell them what the error message says…

and then they can make sure that you have the correct permissions and information to access the database. It just seems that there is a problem with the database itself. They should be able to help you.
