Problem applying discounts to non-composite items

    I have a Dynamic Discount plugin I use to apply a discount to a product category “A” when purchasing 2 or more.

    I already have a separate discount when that product category is in a composite product. But the Discount plugin picks up the item category “A” in the composite product selections and adds an additional discount to it.

    Is it possible for the plugin to have an option for the composite product to not include or to dynamically remove the child-item’s product categories info from being included in the cart line items somehow?

    Thanks for contacting us.

    For your information: as our plugin, WPC Composite Products, already has its own pricing and discounting methods. That’s why our plugin is not compatible with Dynamic Pricing plugins.
    If you try to use it, it will always apply double discounts on products. There’s no way to combine them in a proper way.

    Unfortunately, there’s no known solution to work around this up to now.
