Problem

I tried creating a child theme for 2014, changed the title, description, etc. Even entered “1.1” in to “version”. But, I got this;

The “Template Version” of the Dangerous Journeys Child-Theme and the version of the Twenty Fourteen Theme you have installed are not the same.

Please note this version of the Dangerous Journeys Child-Theme was made for use with the Twenty Fourteen (Parent-Theme) version:
… and the version of Twenty Fourteen, the “Parent-Theme”, you have installed is: 1.1

What’s going on here?

Update: CSS doesn’t work. No matter how I enter it, there is no change to the theme

BTW, is it necessary to assume everybody automatically knows the proper CSS formatting?
