"Pro" version won't update

    I recently purchased the advertised “Pro” version of this plug, “Term and Category based Posts Widget” from Tip Top Press. It installed as 0.9, but immediately said 1.0 was available. It would not update:

    An error occurred while updating Term and Category Based Posts Widget: Update package not available.

    Now it’s 1.0.1, and it still won’t update:

    An error occurred while updating Term and Category Based Posts Widget: Update package not available.

    I’ve attempted to contact Tip Top Press three times via their Website, and have gotten no response.

    I like to complain as much as the next guy, but I would not call getting a response in 3 hours as “no response” 😉

    The developer did respond and explain the upgrade situation.

    To be fair to David, we did had some problems with our site, and might have had some form leading to a “black hole”,

    We do try to have some sort of human response on anything happening on any support channels. If it took more then a day to get an initial response then it is likely that we just didn’t receive it.

    The initial response went days without a response, not hours. But eventually I did hear back to a subsequent response, so it sounds like my first response did go to that “block hole”. Thank you for following up.

    I resend you a receipt with a downlaod link.

    Please delete the old 0.9 version and copy the downloaded files (1.0.1) to your plugin folder ([your-wp-installation]/wp-content/plugins/category-posts-widget).

    Because the update doesn’t work in your case!

    @Ixxiii: Please write us via mail or support formular and let us know with which email adress you have purchased the pro widget. Actually we haven’t any not answered support mail.

    Sorry for the confusion (again). This is @lxxiii/@djivad… I legally changed my business name a while back, and I’m adjusting my wordpress.org accounts to accommodate. I did receive the email for version 1.0.2, and got it installed manually. Thank you for working to fix the auto-updating feature.

    @zuluintl, Please contact the author directly for pro support. They are not allowed to support their customers here.
