Pro Version and Removing a Booking

    Hello,

    I have two questions if I may.

    1. If I purchase the pro version and install it on my current site, will it overwrite everything that I have already setup with the basic version?

    2. Can I only remove a booking by using the pro version? We just installed Book A Place yesterday and we had a member book two sessions when they only needed one. I wanted to “put back” one of the sessions.

    Hi Dean,

    1. If you install Pro version and override Basic one, all data will be saved and nothing will be deleted.

    2. No, you can set the ‘Available’ status to any booked place both in Pro and Basic versions. By mistake in 0.5.5 this feature was disabled. But we’ve fixed this and you can install new release version 0.5.6 or 1.5.5 Pro one.

    Thanks for the information. I have downloaded the 0.5.6 version and tried to update but it says the folder already exists. What am I doing wrong?

    Plugin install failed.

    I purchased and tried to install the PRO version and now I have two plug-ins but can’t activate the pro version. I get the following error.

    Fatal error: Cannot call method self::bap_error_handler() or method does not exist in /var/www/www.rrrmc.linuxproduction.servers.dakotacloud.com/wp-content/plugins/1.5.5/class-book-a-place.php on line 357

    Hi Dean,

    It is better to use manual FTP uploader than WordPress.
    If you want to update Basic plugin to 0.5.6 – delete old folder ‘book-a-place’ and upload a new one.

    If you want to activate Pro version – just deactivate the Basic one at start. Two versions can not be active at the same time.

    Don’t worry all data will stay in database in both cases.
