• If a plugin is shown here, it should be the version you actually get when you download it—not a “Pro” version that turns out to be different once installed. There’s a constant barrage of ads pushing you to upgrade to Pro, along with menus that are either inaccessible or entirely superfluous because everything is locked behind a “Pro” paywall. It’s a waste of time. There’s no sense of class here—just intrusive, aggressive promotion of the Pro version.

It works—but for how long? A new update could easily come along, and suddenly a specific type of block might stop working because it’s been switched to “Pro.” It’s not worth the risk.

    Dear @danishsard

    Thank you for your review.

We’re sorry to hear that the upgrade prompts and locked options made your experience frustrating. Customer experience and satisfaction are very important to us, and we appreciate your honest feedback.

Poll Maker offers DOZENS of options in the Free version, which we regularly update and improve based on users’ needs. However, we understand that displaying Pro options within the dashboard can make the distinction between the two versions less clear. We will share your feedback about the promotional messages and menus with our Product Management Team.

Regarding your concern about future updates, could you let us know whether a feature you previously used has become unavailable, or whether this is a concern about what might happen? Please also tell us which features you expected to find in the Free version so we can clarify their availability.

Our Customer Care Team would be happy to discuss this further. You can contact us directly through this form.

    Thank you!

I don’t want to see “Pro” options if they aren’t available in the free version. It just clutters the interface and looks unsightly—it’s essentially an advertisement, not a functional element. I don’t know where this bad habit came from—offering a free version but showing previews of paid features, leaving the panels full of locked items. If something is paid, it shouldn’t be displayed at all, rather than just creating a mess.

    Dear @danishsard ,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and clarifying your concerns.

We understand your point of view. However, we’d also like to explain why Pro features are visible in the Free version.

The main purpose is to help users discover the full range of features available in Poll Maker. Even if certain features are not included in the Free version, displaying them allows users to see what’s possible and understand which additional functionalities are available if they ever decide to upgrade.

It’s also important to mention that developing, maintaining, improving, and supporting the plugin requires continuous work from our developers, support specialists, and other team members. The Pro version helps us sustain this work while continuing to offer a functional Free version to the WordPress community.

We believe it’s reasonable to make users aware of the additional features available in the Pro version, rather than hiding those possibilities entirely.

That said, we appreciate your feedback regarding how these features are presented in the interface, and we’ll take it into consideration as we continue improving the user experience.

    Thank you for your understanding.
