I’m looking at Zen Cache for a membership site with s2member framework pro and Buddypresss (and Bullet proof Security). Just trialing the Zen Cache Lite on another site and noticed a pro feature that might impact on BuddyPress.

In your pro features it gives an option to compress the css and js – will this compress the BP files that are served early in the page load? as these are recommended to be minified, but BP says they can’t be.

    Many thanks.

Also please can you confirm that it is compatible with BuddyPress? And rtmedia for BuddyPress too?? – as this specifically posts images and comments in the image lightbox?
    Thanks.

@5high I answered your questions in the Pre-Sales Ticket that you submitted, but for the benefit of others who may find this thread, I’m copying my answers below:

In ZenCache Pro you can control which CSS/JS files are compressed, so if there’s a specific CSS/JS file that you don’t want compressed (such as the BuddyPress CSS/JS), you can just tell the ZenCache HTML Compressor to exclude those specific files from compression and it will ignore those.

We haven’t seen any issues running ZenCache Pro alongside s2Member Pro + BuddyPress. 🙂
