Private site

Hello dear great WP community!

I would like to make my website private.
I found “only” 2 plugins that can do that

– “registered users only”: not updated for 2 years, i don’t want to use it ;-), and it’s too complex for my needs

– “friends only” (till 3.5) : this plugin is great in term of feature, exactly what i want (i give my friends a password (a word or their email) and they can use it to visit the site and register if they want. Simple! And i’m noticed each time someone visits.

But when i activate friends only, the style sheet is not loading when people enter my website. This plug in in not compatible to my theme 🙁 (i can’t show you i’m still on local)

Do you have any other plugin to suggest me? I’m desperate!
