    Hello!

Thanks for fast answer. No, I have only Login Whitelist enabled.

I don’t have enabled Cookie Based Brute Force Prevention.

How to exclude Password Protected from Login Whitelist without to enable Cookie Based Brute Force Prevention? Thanks.

    Best regards,

    Hello!

    People get this message:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp-login.php?action=postpass on this server.

When is Login Whitelist disabled is all fine, people can access to the protected webpage.

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

Okay thank you for reporting back. Can you for now not enable the Enable IP Whitelisting option. One of the plugin developers will research this further.

    Kind regards

Is there a solution for this problem yet? I’m experiencing the same thing. Thanks.

Hi @catbell whitelisting can be a bit tricky. If you enable whitelisting you have to make sure that the IP address of anyone login as a member is added to the whitelist feature.

Now if you have a membership site and you are using a membership plugin and set up this feature correctly, it should not interfere with the membership plugin. If you don’t have a membership site and you want to use the whitelist option make sure that; if you are using the Brute Force Cookie Based Brute Force Login Prevention you also enable My Site Has Posts Or Pages Which Are Password Protected:

In @robert4web situation, they have already stated the following.

I don’t have enabled Cookie Based Brute Force Prevention.

How to exclude Password Protected from Login Whitelist without to enable Cookie Based Brute Force Prevention? Thanks.

Have you tried to disable all other plugins except this one and carried out a test? It that does not work can you test one of WordPress default themes to see if it is your theme causing this issue.

    Regards
