Privacy levels?

    I’m quit new to docs, but I tried to create many buddypress groups and try to make my groups private or hidden.

    So I want that only people from group 1 see the docs from group 1 and nobody else. But right now everybody who is logged in can see the doc.

    So do I misunderstand the following sentence?

    “Docs that can be linked to groups or users, with a variety of privacy levels”

    Is it possible to hide docs from one group to another group?

    You are correct. Each doc has privacy settings that include associating a doc with a group and restricting access to members of that group. See this image for an example of the settings on a doc’s edit screen: https://imgur.com/a/Z1xvu

    Keep in mind that as a site admin you’ll see everything, so if you want to have the “ordinary user” experience, you’ll need to log in with a non-admin user.
