Printful and Woocommerce Integration

    I have a store powered by Woocommerce however, I also use Printful on demand printing to sell products in my store.

    I use Woocommerce services to print shipping labels. Here is the problem:

    Lets say a visitor orders two items from my store:
    One item is fulfilled by me.
    One item is fulfilled by printful

    When I print a shipping label, I am forced to buy a label for the item fulfilled by Printful despite the fact that Printful handles the shipping.

    I would like to be able to print labels for one item while ignoring the other item.

    Please let me know how I can make this happen!

    Hi there!

    While you can get this done, with the current workflow, it might get a little confusing to the user.

    I do agree that this could be really helpful in use cases similar to yours. It would be great to have you add your ideas to the Ideas Board, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

    Hi there!

    Sorry if the status confused you. I marked it as resolved because there currently isn’t an option within WooCommerce Services to get this done.

    I’ll mark this as not-resolved to see if any others have a different approach.

    it really just needs an option to remove an item from a shipment. I use the same set up as you, and have the same issue…. this is especially problematic on international orders. because it affects the customs form if you don’t edit it manually.

    right now you can move an item to another shipment, but you can’t remove it from shipping. this is what is needed and would be very simple.

    Hi there,

    At the moment with WooCommerce Services it is not possible to remove a specific item from shipping since shipping labels are generated and printed for the whole order.

    A request to change this qualifies as a feature request and should be logged on our ideas board:

    I don’t see your request there – can you please add it?

    Since this is a feature request and it can take a while for this functionality to be added – I’ll be marking this thread as resolved.
