Preventing comments to pages?

    I want to be able to control what parts of the blog people can comment on. I definately don’t want comments available for Pages and would like to be able to specify which posts copmments are accepted on.

    Is this possible?

    1. You can totally eliminate the call for the comments_template from your Page template – in that case nothing will appear referring to comments. (If you don’t have a page.php template in your theme then the index.php is used to display your Pages. Save it as page.php and edit it.)
    2. When writing posts you can always check/uncheck the “Allow Comments” box.
