Prevent specific words being automatically translated

    Hello.
    I’d like to prevent specific word(s) from being automatically translated. I’d like to specify a different translation for the word on various pages (depending on context). However, I’ve added the words into the Exclude strings from automatic translation and Exclude Gettext Strings within settings but they still get automatically translated? Please can anyone help? I am using the free version of TranslatePress.

    Hi,

    If the word was already automated translated and only after you exclude it, this will not have the desired effect. The excluded words will not be translated in the future strings that you will add. Did you do that?

    About setting a particular translation for a word, we don’t have support for this. Is a feature requested by other users also, but for the moment we don’t have a timeframe for it.
