Pretty permalinks break images

    Yet another problem has come up with my site:

    Images are broken on individual post pages.

    After I migrated the site to Linux, I set permalinks to ‘day and name’. This broke the images on all pages, but I fixed them by deleting the slug on each page, saving it, re-typing the slug and saving again. No idea why that worked, but it doesn’t work on the individual post pages. Can anyone help?
