Pretty Affiliate Link Click Event Tracking

    Yesterday, I setup selfhosted Hitkeep through docker and everything is working correctly except this plugin doesn’t have option to track pretty affiliate links or shortened link click in the event with specified prefix such as:

    https://example.com/go/12345

    So, I would like to request to make this feature available in the plugin so I can use the plugin instead of manually setting up and inserting the code.

    Hi Skrlance,

    Thanks for the request. HitKeep currently tracks the standard browser events exposed by the WordPress plugin, but internal redirect links like /go/12345 are a different case from normal outbound links.

    Can you share which plugin you are using?

    I am using Betterlinks plugin to shorten affiliate links.

    0.3.4 allows both redirect tracking with generic wp_redirect hooks as well as plugins like BetterLinks and some other affiliate plugins.

    It does however require you to create an API Key in your HitKeep Instance for server side tracking.
