Hi,
It is not possible to combine the two add-ons. Premium Setting add-on was developed to work with GEO my WP.
I will look into adding the ability to add custom fields to Job Manager search form. But I think you should contact Mike, the developer of Job Manger plugin, and ask him if he has planes on adding this feature to the plugin ( or maybe as an add-on ).
Ah, OK.
In that case is it possible to use the premium settings plugin and a custom form to query the job_listing post type? Since the posts are geocoded using the Geomywp engine the geolocation fields used are the same as if Geomywp performed the job address lookup.
Then instead of using the [jobs] shortcode from wpjobmanager could I create a form using Geomywp and Premium Settings to perform geocoded lookups with additional custom field and taxonomy querying?
Is this possible, and could you advise how it works? I had a look for Premium Settings documentation but couldn’t really find anything.
Thanks!
Yes, you definitely can create a search form for jobs using GEO my WP forms builder. And together with Premium Settings add-on you will be able to add custom fields ( as text box only at the moment ), custom map markers, taxonomies as checkboxes and more.
The documentation page of Premium Settings is missing lot of information at the moment. I am working on the next version of the add-on and once I am done I will update the docs.
Until then if you decided to purchase the add-on you can ask me if you have any questions.
FYI, I am more responsive in GEO my WP’s official forum.
Thank you.
