    Hi,

I have updated Elementor plugin and Premium Add-ons plugin.

    Before update:

    Elementor version: Version 3.0.13
    Premium Add-ons version: Version 3.21.6

    After update:

    Elementor version: Version 3.5.1
    Premium Add-ons version: Version 4.7.7

After the updates, the settings within Premium Blog widgets are all gone.

    – Previously it was set to show three columns, but now it is showing 2 columns instead for all Blog widgets
    – The “read me” button are missing from the Blog widgets
    – There was padding between each post. But the padding are now gone and the posts and stick together
    – I am using many blog widgets throughout the website, each blog widget will pull posts from different categories. But the categories settings are blank after the updates. All the blog widgets are showing the same posts

Can you advise if I can update the plugin without losing the settings for the Premium blog widgets?

    Best regards

    Hi @mryakkie

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

Actually, Premium Addons for Elementor v3.21.6 was released more than one year ago. We have made dozens of changes into the core of Premium Blog widget, added new skins, more controls, and changed the default values of the controls for better UI/UX experience.

    – You can control the number of columns from widget settings -> Content tab -> General.

    – To insert a “Read More” link, please navigate to widget settings -> Content tab -> Post Options and change “Excerpt Type” to “Link”.

    – Spacing can be controlled now from widget settings -> Content tab -> Display Options.

    – Finally, you can find all the filters in widget settings -> Content tab -> Query.

Premium Blog widget was literally rebuilt from scratch in v4.0.0. You can check the options now available in the widget on the demo page from here.
