Preload CPU usage

    Hi, Preload seems to be maxing out our server CPU with several processes running at the same time. Is there any way to stop preload using so much CPU?

    @gavpedz,

    Preloading is basically force loading all your pages, so you might have a small spike in CPU usage (depending on how resource intensive your pages are for the web server). You can try to set the preload post interval to a lower value, maybe even to 0, so that the script finishes faster. Maybe that can help. Or increasing it to allow the CPU to rest a bit between page calls.

    To be honest, we’ve never had any issues with CPU during testing. Could you please share your hosting specs?
