Hi Marincky…no worries, here to help. First, it’s best to say what specifically is “absolutely awful”, but my guess is that you are referring to the top front page showcase image which is stretched way off to the right (in full width)?
I noticed you are using an image widget to load this banner image which is the problem because it’s not responsive (meaning it doesn’t work on phones etc).
Try using a standard text widget (without a title field filled out) or the Advanced Text Widget plugin (a widget that is like a text widget but lets you disable the title and assign it to specific pages) to load the image using html like this:
<img src=”path to your image here” alt=”an image description” />
So for yours, your html code would be like this:
<img src="http://www.wizz-catz.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/cropped-wizzcatz.jpg" />

Hi there, I have a huge issue!!.. You were very helpful to me before so I hope you can be again.. I stupidly didn’t create a child theme (I only just found about this) and I have updated your theme and lost my home page, side bars etc etc.. I think with a lot of work I can get most of it back but I am totally thrown on how the home page works now, it is very different and I can’t get it back to how it was.. Is there ANY WAY I can upload the older version of the theme I would have had? or any other options? remember I am not technically minded at all… Please help… feeling really peed off with myself…
I can see my home page there in the admin area, but it won’t call the home page when you put the url in.. even though I have changed the settings to call it as a static page.. It looks like it’s calling your theme editor module..
Hi Marincky…. I’m here to help, but you will need to create a new topic for this latest support request as the thread here is already set as solved. At some point the moderators will probably say something.
First thing I would suggest though is if you can revert back to the previous version you had. Do you still have the previous version download? If not you can get it by clicking on the Developers tab here on the Preference Lite http://wordpress.org/themes/preference-lite/developers/
