preference lite menu orientation change after update

    Sorry, total nubie here with word press. Working on a site for my horse rescue and just automatically updated preference lite when prompted. Now my menu, which used to be horizontal is centered and vertical. How can I change it back??? I’ve have looked at all settings and can’t find a choice menu!! Looked at CSS page and can’t find code either!!
    Checked set up tutorial and no info on orientation. Can someone send me in the right direction?
