• Hello, thank you for creating this plugin.

I found an issue with Purchase events.
Meta reports that predicted_ltv was provided as an invalid value. Unfortunately, I did not have logging enabled at that time and I cannot find the actual value, but looking at the source code I noticed the calculation is based on _woo_capi_cogs meta field, which is not defined in the plugin, but only used.

My assumption is that it is the root cause of the issue, however I decided to reach out and ask what is the reasoning behind this field, given it’s only used and not explicitly defined.

I also believe that since the value for that field is missing, the LTV always equals to the order total, which may be false in many cases.

    Thank you.

    hi @dandry

Thank you for reaching out and sharing this observation!

You are completely correct. The _woo_capi_cogs field was intended for profit-based Value-Based Bidding (VBB). When that field was empty, the calculation defaulted to predicted_ltv = order_total, which Meta flagged as an invalid value.

We have resolved this in v1.1.1
