Secondly, I’d like to let you know that I’ve seen your thoughts about the free version of Buttonizer. I’m sorry to hear that. This knowledge base article will give you some more information about the single button and group functionality.
Last year we have added a lot of new functionalities and more complexity and settings to Buttonizer, I agree with you that Buttonizer is getting a bit over-complicated. We’re are working on some big updates which will introduce templating for example. This way setting up a button (including styling) will be a matter of seconds instead of minutes.
Currently, we’re also trying to simplify the settings and are moving some ‘hidden’ settings to the dashboard so these are also available to change.
If you have anything else that could make it easier to understand the way how Buttonizer works, please let us know! We’re constantly trying to improve our plugin and are also adding a lot of free functionalities.
To answer the questions regarding to the free version:
We’re currently working on the functionality to disable shadows, but is not yet available (but will become available).
You can also add the following CSS that should remove the button shadow:
.buttonizer, .buttonizer .buttonizer-button {
box-shadow: unset !important;
}
Resizing buttons is not possible with Buttonizer currently, it’s on our feature request list. SVG is only supported if your WordPress environments support it, by default it’s disabled by WordPress, but if you have a plugin that enables SVG’s, then Buttonizer will work with it.
