Hello,
Great questions! I have placed my response below.
Can I create templates for certain customers that I have where they woulda did their name number etc?
Yes, our uDraw plug-in supports this.
In that template can I set a box as a place holder image where they would click and it will prompt them to upload their pic?
Yes, our uDraw plug-in supports this.
In the template can I just make a form with fields that they would fill out like name phone number etc and it would apply it to the design?
Yes. There are 2 ways to do this with our plug-in. The cheapest and easiest way to do this would be to use uDraw and create “labels” in HTML5 designer. The other way would be to do this on a PDF template using PDF forms. You can see 2 examples below:
HTML5 : https://www.rainbowprinting.ca/product/simple-labelled-card/
(FYI – this site is currently under re-design, so the uDraw is not set up properly and the link may not be active in a few days)
PDF : https://www.thepersonalizationco.com/shop/our-memories-so-far-canvas/
The HTML5 way is more intuitive and flexible. A lot easier to manage. The PDF method is a lot more sophisticated and harder to do. It requires training on our part which is why it is more expensive.
Let me know if I have answered your question or if you require further clarification.
Thanks! π
Thanks for the answers. Trying to install udraw on a sandbox site and I get the following error
/wp-content/udraw/storage/_designs_/ does not have sufficient permissions.
So for premium its a $100 setup and $100 a month? I havent got into the plugin yet but what do I get with the premium vs the non premium?
The error message you’re getting was a known issue, but we *just* released our newest update ( 2.6.3 ) https://wordpress.org/plugins/udraw/ which resolved that issue. If you don’t see the auto-update in your admin panel, you can manually grab it from the link above.
The main advantages of premium is; Unlimited templates ( versus only 2 for free ), Layered PDF output ( versus flat file PDF ) and Private Clip art Collection.
Hope this helps and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Thanks!
im trying to setup a template. I thought I read somewhere that I can use a pdf as the template. Im also trying another designer plugin that lets me load up a pdf with pdflib
That is correct. It’s also based off of PDFlib, but it requires a bit of learning / training, unless you have experience with it already.
If you would like a demo or have specific questions regarding our PDF template system, you can contact us via email or phone here;

Hope this helps! π
Yes I am familiar with PDFlib. Im using it now on another web to print system that I am trying out. So your saying that I cannot create a template with my PDFlib template that I already created in acrobat with the free version of your software?
The free version of the uDraw plugin only allows templates created with the HTML5 online designer. We have a module that plugs into uDraw plugin that will allow you to have both PDFlib templates and HTML5 templates, but there is currently no free version of that.
I would recommend contacting our business development department ( http://webtoprint.solutions/contact-us/ ) and see if they will be able to give you a trial version of the PDFlib within uDraw.
Will that be an additional fee on top of the $100 a month?
It is $150 per month for the PDFlib capability.
Kind Regards
Thanks. Thats very expensive compared to the $59 I spend now. But I will keep you in mind.
