Hi – just wondering if anyone can answer this question? I’m trying to get this project finished. The Avada theme developer is promoting this plugin but I can’t work out how to add the events to an existing page?
Thanks
Melanie
In other words, how to I get this information http://www.webfactory.com.au/testsites/lovedale/events/ to appear in this page http://www.webfactory.com.au/testsites/lovedale/hunter-valley-events/ Or amend the self-generated Events page to match in with the rest of the site? Sorry if there’s something obvious I’m missing …

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply here.
Our plugin creates the main views such as Month, list, etc. In WordPress those views are archives and not pages.
We have a feature to change the slug, but not add multiple copies of those views using a shortcode or another other means.
You can read about changing the event url slug here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wp-admin-settings-overview/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Thanks for your reply – sorry, in theory it’s a great plugin but I have no idea how to incorporate it into an existing site so the page looks the same! Seems you need to have coding experience which is what a lot of us are trying to avoid using WordPress …
Howdy Melanie,
Thank you for the feedback. We do our best to make it easy to use and just work out of the box, but indeed it is not possible to make every customization without knowing WordPress/PHP. Unfortunately this will continue to be a necessity until computers can start thinking for us.
If you have any specific questions let us know. Cheers!
