PowerPress RSS Prefix Integration

    We are using PowerPress Podcast Channels to manage the RSS feeds for two of our shows, each with its own RSS. We would like to add a different prefix to each of the shows. We tried to go to Podcast Settings for Channel and under the Other Settings tab add the prefix to the redirect URL feed but nothing happened. The prefix was not added to the enclosure URL in the RSS.

    What “prefix” were you trying to add?

    What version of PowerPress are you using. The newest is 7.0.2 and from 7.0 on we have fixed a bug in that “other settings” for channels.

    IS the prefix part of a URL issued to you from Blubrry?

    The redirect URL for statistics only supports blubrry, techpodcasts, rawvoice and podtrac. If you enter something else we will not apply it. We had issues in the past where users put random values in here and their feeds when invalid.
