Posts wont display… help!

    I’m hoping someone on here can help with a very odd issue. Posts on the home page will not display. The other pages all display content and plug-ins work fine, it just that the home page posts will not display. The posts are still there, they can be accessed via sidebar links.

    My home page is set to display posts, the posts are also all published and set to be visible.

    Has anybody encountered anything like this? Any ideas?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    thanks for the response. I have tried deactivating plugins and I also tried using a different theme. Same issue.

    I have not tried resetting the plugins folder… its worth a shot.

    seems to be a url problem:
    the url http://www.desertassassins.com/index.php works fine;

    check your ‘settings’ ‘general’ ‘WordPress address (URL)’ and ‘Site address (URL)’

    good catch! by typing in index.php I am able to view all the posts.

    Those two URL settings have not changed, both are set to desertassassins.com

    I am fairly new to WP, but since the site used to work and I have not changed those settings, do you think I need to set them to something else now?
