‘posts page’ in page builder

    I use the PostX page builder on my website but can’t seem to find where I can build the ‘posts page’ that showcases all blogs/posts.

    The ‘posts page’ is set in settings>reading and is a blank page named ‘updates’. It shows the posts with the theme’s settings, I want the postX blocks to show.

    Does this page not take its looks from the PostX builder ‘Archive Template’? How can I build it with PostX blocks?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    It’s actually very simple—you don’t need to use Archive Templates or the Site Builder for this!

    Here is the easiest way to set it up:

    1. Go to Pages > Add New (or edit your existing page, like ‘Updates’ or ‘Blog’).
    2. Build and design the page directly using your preferred PostX blocks (such as Post Grid, Post List, or Post Module).
    3. Save/Publish the page.
    4. Go to Settings > Reading in your WordPress dashboard, select that page as your Posts page, and click Save Changes.

    That’s it! Your blog page will now be fully powered by PostX blocks while being assigned as your site’s main posts page.

    It doesn’t work; it still shows the Astra theme version of the page.

    But I disabled the Posts Page in settings/reading, and now it works as I want; I just have to manually link the page on the front page.

    I’m glad to hear that you found the solution and got it working exactly how you wanted!

    Yes, themes like Astra often override pages assigned under Settings > Reading with their own default blog layout, so unassigning the page and linking it directly is indeed the best way to maintain total design control with PostX blocks.
