Posts on facebook shared without featured photo

    I’m using Floating sharing, but this was happening with standard sharing as well, same post when shared multiple times on facebook groups, pages or profiles sometimes is shared with photo, sometimes without and that looks awful on facebook like you forgot to upload featured photo. What can be the problem?

    This is related to open graph meta tags cache maintained by Facebook. You can fetch the new scrape information after saving the problematic webpage in Facebook Debugger https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

    I got Share App ID Missing message

    “The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.”

    Can you please help me with what to do next?

    App ID is not mandatory for Facebook share. You can ignore that warning. If you still want it there, drop an email at support[at]heateor[dot]com so that I can help you regarding the same.
