Posts by email with attachments?

    Hi, I’m setting up a wordpress blog, and we have someone who wants to be able to post audio to the blog by simply calling a phone number, entering an extension, and talking.

    We have everything setup and working up to the point of the call audio being emailed to an email address as a .wav file (using Asterisk).

    Now I need to be able to take the attached .wav file and either simply add it the the uploads so it appears in the Media or the best possible solution would be to take that .wav file, convert it to mp3/m4a and post it into a blog post.

    Has anyone performed something like this or do I need to hack wordpress to do all this for me?
